Visiting our wildflower farm

Where are we?

When are we open?

Our nursery hours change with the seasons!

Visit during regular hours or make an APPOINTMENT to visit us.

ADDRESS: 340 Dry Bridge Road Mexico,NY (between Valley Road & Route 41)

PHONE: 315-236-8592

There’s no big displays, huge greenhouses, trolleys or staff.

It’s just us sharing the beauty of our gardens, listening to birds & watching butterflies.

This is our home in beautiful Mexico, New York.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

  • Our farm is a licensed NY nursery specializing in native plants of New York plus our favorite rebel flowers like iris, glads & zinnias

  • We share plants, bouquets and natural holiday decorations~ all metal, foam & plastic-free!

  • We follow regenerative practices to nurture the soil & ecosystem without pesticides or herbicides.

When you visit our wildflower farm…

you are visiting the gardens of friends…

A few ‘rules’ …

Our 200+ year old farm is in resurrection with lots of “projects in process” …

For your safety & ours we kindly ask you to:

  • Leave your dogs at home where they can nap & enjoy eating biscuits on the couch.

They’ll be much happier & safe from the heat of your car (and George the Cat)

  • Stay in the front nursery area! We let bees & other pollinators ..well... be! We don't disturb bees and they don’t bother us. Please respect them & our privacy.

After all if a bee can’t eat it … neither can you!

  • BE WARNED: if you drop in when we are closed you’ll be weeding before you can say ‘Bumblebee’!!!

  • RESTROOMS: Sorry no public restrooms are available. Might want to make a pit stop at a ‘coffee recycling station” in town before heading over!

Human Kids are always welcome!

  • Grumpy parents however will weed the back field.
Meanwhile the kids & Melanie will be enjoying the shade of the 200 year old Maple trees sipping lemonade & playing with bugs.

  • Please note: we are on a country road THERE ARE STILL CARS! So please keep kids safely in the nursery area.
